BaByliss Argan Oil, Initial Review!

Look what arrived!!

I know i'm a late comer to the Argan oil boat but if i'm honest the price stopped me previously purchasing.

I leapt with joy when i saw a bottle of BaByliss Argan oil in a blog sale! I quickly purchased it and today it arrived!

The bottle is small but i know you only have to use tiny amounts of this product for it to be effective.

The packaging reminded me a bit of some medicines bottles i've experienced in the past but this was all quickly forgotten as i wanted to try it out!

My hair was in a bit of disarray today so it needed some attention. The directions on the back instruct you to rub a pea size amount of the product into your hair, starting at the tips and working your way up. Immediately my hair felt softer and smoother.

The product was true to the description in that it left no residue on my fingers and didn't leave my hair looking greasy. I think the key with this is making sure you don't use too much!

4 hours or so later and my hair still feels and looks great. I'm hoping this product will improve the overall health of my hair. I'm also looking forward to trying this out on wet hair and seeing what difference it makes.

Do you use an Argan or Moroccan oil for your hair? What's your opinion on it?

(Take a look) The blog sale i got my Argan oil from:

I have to admit i found the fashion sense at the BAFTA's far better! But you can be the judge of that yourselves...

Anne Hathaway's style is always right on the mark for me. This is a dress that simply shows off her figure. It didn't have any dangers (tripping over a train, showing too much clevage/leg). She is my Best dressed of the BAFTA's :)

I really like this choice by Caroline Flack. I must say i really prefer it when she wears something more demure. I think i like this dress so much because out of all the outfits it's the one that i would choose to wear myself. I simply adore the lace and beading detail. The cinche in at the waist helps to give the impression of an hourglass figure (That's what we all want right?) Finally i love how she has let the dress do the talking by leaving her hair in loose waves.

Some other dresses and styles that caught my eye...

I must seem like i'm obsessed with black!  Check out my Youtube for more Beauty and lifestyle videos

Ok let's kick it off with the Grammy's 2013!

So i quickly decided who really stood out for me on the red carpet at the Grammy's. There was one clear winner. Understated, modern and fresh it was Beyonce...

Although her outfit is something that i normally wouldn't wear, wow she know how to show off her figure. Got to love those killer heels too!!

Someone else who caught my eye in a more controversial outfit was Adele. I could she where she was going with this outfit, do you think she pulled it off or not?

Much Love! As always check out my Youtube for more style beauty and lifestyle vlogs xxx

Pumpkin Pie Candle! (Pumpkin spiced latte from Starbucks!!)

Love Starbucks pumpkin spiced latte? Then this candle was made for you!

Hey everyone, so a wee bit of a random post today but i've just been loving this candle so much over the past month i had to share!

So my parents got me this candle on their anniversary, how lovely of them!!! I can tell you that they got it from TKMAXX. Over the past month of January i have just been loving this candle. It has a pretty strong scent but it comes with a cute glass lid so it doesn't overpower your room.

Candles have become a wee bit of an obsession of mine but this is by far my most favourite candle :) Thank you mum and dad :)

Much love and Stay beautiful xxx

Recent purchase: Calvin Klein Foundation

It's so hard to pick a foundation on a budget! and I'm really not prepared to pay over £5 for a foundation, which is tough!

But after weeks of searching i finally made an online purchase tonight. I'm a little skeptical because of it being online and not being able to try out the shades but i looked at loads of photos of my face and tried to match it best with that. I ended up purchasing a foundation by Calvin Klein...

Here's the shade i ended up going for...'Soft beige'. I'm hoping it'll be the right blend between not too pale and not too tan. Here's hoping! Expect a review on this really soon :)

Handbag Essentials: Lip Products!

Lip products have been on mind so much over this past season. I think it's something we all naturally do over the winter months. I particularly seem to be prone to dry lips more so than most of my friends, but then i suppose that's all to your advantage as i can advice you on some products from my actual experience!

So i have one definite lip product that i always use! And that is Blistex! it's uh-maz-zing!!

If you are prone to dry lips then i would go as far as to say that this is ESSENTIAL to get you through the winter!

Next up are 2 products that i like to keep in my handbag and use when i'm out and about for the simple reason that they are easy to apply and you don't need to be overly precise when putting it on. First up is City Color Diamante Lipgloss Pink #2

Then Lastly, a more recent discovery of mine and i'm thinking about doing a review for it as i really am loving it...L'Oreal Kiss Proof Lip Balm
Hope you all have soft and supple lips before you know it! Love you all. Stay Beautiful xxx

Tanya Burr: I owe it all to you!

How beautiful is she? And although Tanya has no idea i exist. Her existence has impacted me greatly. As i'm sure she has made an impression upon so many other lives.

Tanya is like my beauty knight in shining armor! Let's roll back a couple months in my life...

Leaving school was tough. Don't worry i couldn't wait to leave but deciding to not go university and start it out on my own with being an artist (an artist that paints not a beauty artist unfortunately!) was daunting. But life had handed me the circumstances of having to life with long term chronic pain, so i wanted to turn things around and set up a business in doing something that brought me great joy!

I still love art and i am such a happy bunny to be able to do it everyday (that is, every day i'm feeling up to it). But along the way i started to develop a hobby. One day i'd dug out some old makeup from a couple years back and started messing around with it.

Here comes the bit where Tanya changes my life... hehe. Well it wasn't quite like that. I actually came across Jim Chapman's video on self tanning! Hahaha Goodness knows why i clicked on that video but then i started watching a few more of Jim's videos and this stunning woman kept appearing in them. I remember thinking 'oh man i wish i could learn how to do my makeup like her's because it's flawless!!!'

A couple days later and i was slightly obsessive with watching Tanya! Her realistic approach to make up made me feel like it wasn't impossible.

So soon i was heading out to boots and superdrug to try and get some new makeup. My mum marvelled as suddenly i went from only needing a mascara to wanting eyelash curlers, a red lippy, new mascara, new liquid liner, new bronzer, blush, eyebrow dye. Soon enough i had to take a day out just to organize my makeup into boxes so it would all fit!

I was soon learning how to contour, dye my own eyebrows (mum loved that one!), shape my eyebrows, what an arch in your eyebrow meant :) :) :) etc.

Whilst i was consumed with all this learning i was determined to stay myself. I was still me, the lover of lazy days, the i only have time for mascara but really don't care what i look like type.

This hobby has now developed into a passion that now sits along side my passion for art. I found meaning in my life through art and it's wonderful to get a deeper sense of purpose by now having 2 passions in my life.

As i was doing various makeup looks and getting progressively more and more adventurous, i contemplated making videos for my personal youtube channel. Then my brother kindly suggested that if it was such a passion of mine then it would be worth investing a separate youtube channel into it, and i agreed. So It's feburary now and i have set up that channel.

Although every now and again i still stop and think am i honestly giving people makeup and lifestyle advice???

But i guess eventually you have to have the confidence in yourself that what you are saying might just matter to someone else and i guess that is what Tanya has done for me.

Tanya has always been the one beauty guru i have consistently watched and always go to for advice...seriously, her how to dye your eyebrows video with Kate is a life saver!!!

So This is my public THANK YOU to Tanya. Not only has my outer appearance improved but my moral, outlook on life and positivity about life has all improved.

Tanya, i love you and Jim so much. More than You'll know. I continually watch and rewatch your videos. You are a very inspirational character in my life. And in 20 years time i will look back on this time in my life and continue to be thankful to you. I wish you and Jim all the happiness in life.

You are beautiful, inside and out.

CCUK Natural Lash Mascara review

So, i don't know about you but for a while now I've been hearing...'it's good to give your lashes a break', 'clear mascara is really good for them'. So when doing my recent make up haul i thought i'd pick some out and try it. I got CCUK Natural Lash Mascara, a real budget item..but was it any good?

First off the product itself is presented nicely in sleek outer packaging. The Mascara itself could be compared to a gel, sort of looks like a lip-gloss if you don't look close enough. And the wand is just the same as on a normal mascara.

Now when i saw that the consistency was like gel i thought 'oh no, it's just going to sit wet on your lashes all day'. But it dried super quick! I curled my lashes before applying it and left it as it was. Now obviously it really doesn't give you the intensity or volume that an everyday mascara would but with no makeup or neutral makeup it looks great.

Plus you feel great knowing that your nourishing your lovely little lashes with a protein enriched formula. It's definitely something i would use on a weekly basis and in replacement of a normal mascara every now and again.

All the Best, Have A Great Day!
