OOTN: Our Night at the Royal Ballet!

Last night i completed #35 on my 101in1001 project. I went to see the Royal Ballet and Ulster orchestra perform. The Ballet highlights were amazing, definitely enough to motivate me to go see a full blown ballet. As always the Ulster Orchestra were a riveting success, I couldn't sing their praises more!
So, i decided to share with you my Outfit choice and Makeup. I filmed a get ready with me video, that will be up on my Youtube channel soon :)
Enjoy!

It's a time to share...

I cherish the Beauty blogger community and so many lovely people have been really supportive of me in the past few months. I feel that it is really necessary to be honest with all you lovely people. I'm having a real tough time of it lately, i would like to pretend i'm not but that wouldn't be being honest with myself. About 4 years ago now i started getting side affects from what i now know to be Joint Hypermobility syndrome. Telling  people what i have instantly puts a label on me and people start to presume what my life must be like. I know there are thousands, probably millions of people worse off than me. But that doesn't stop whatever conditions i have affecting me physically, emotionally and most of all mentally!
I'm constantly put on different tablets, half of which don't actually seem to be doing much. I have a constant stream of appointments. And i know alot of people think it's in my head because i seem and look like a pretty normal human being. I can walk, dance, have fun, just like everyone else. But most people don't see the 24 hour sleeps, or the complete lack of sleep. Most people don't know that there are days on end where it's an achievement to get out of my bed, walk downstairs and make a cup of tea.
I know there's hope, there's always things in life which bring all of us joy and happiness. But sometimes those moments can seem so far away.
It's so disappointing when you can't find it within yourself to even achieve the most basic of goals...and, that is what life feels like to me at the moment. I sleep, i eat, and i feel purposeless. I know in a week or so i'll probably be in a better state of mind but every now and again we all have these low points...i wanted to share mine...

Much Love, Bethany xxx

Introducing Alex from OneBeautyAddict...

OneBeautyAddict on  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/OneBeautyAddict?feature=mhee

I'm really pleased Alex got in touch. I've really enjoyed watching her YouTube videos for a while now - She does alot of lovely tutorials, hauls and tags. She has a really warm personality that leaves you wanting to watch more and more of her videos.
So i hope you all enjoy my interview with her! Please check out her YouTube and social media links.

What is your name? What is the name of your blog or youtube?
My name is Alejandra but I go by Alex. Youtube name: OneBeautyAddict

Describe yourself in 3 words…
Three words that describe me are Fun, loving, adventurous

How would you describe your blog/youtube channel?
My channel is mainly Beauty/Fashion

When did you start blogging/ making youtube videos?
I started making YouTube videos about a month ago

What inspired you to start?
One day last year I looked on YouTube for hair tutorial and opened up a whole new world. I have always been into fashion and beauty but didn't know I could show what I can do and share what I know with the world. This has always been my passion and its funny to look at old videos on beauty channels and see that I was always on trend without knowing about Youtube. This is my passion and I have always been told that so this was my way of pursuing it.

Who is your favourite beauty blogger/youtuber right now?
I love Melissa from Melmphs. She doesn’t care if her videos are perfect or she has the perfect face, hair or look. I love the relaxed and fun vibe she gives and that’s what I am about too. Its about having fun doing what you love.

What is your favourite beauty brand?
My favorite beauty brand is NYX!!! Love everything they have and the cost is amazing for what you get. You always get some misses with brands but they are great across the board.

Ultimate beauty or haircare product that you would recommend?
Ultimate beauty product I would recommend is the Airspun Loose powder. This has been on the market for decades and works wonders on setting your undereye concealer. Its one of those lost behind the drawer products.

Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I love to travel but haven't gotten to do much of it lately. The world is beautiful and want to be able to see it. I have been to amazing places including Costa Rica where I climbed an active volcano. Yes, lava and all. I have a few more places on my list that I hope to visit before I leave this Earth :)

Have any social media links you’d like to give?

A big Thank You to Alex for answering my questions!

REVIEW: L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Light Conditioner

Hello everyone! A review for you today! So i made a change in my hair-care routine recently.

The reason why i initially picked this product up was because it was half price (such a sucker for a bargain) and i'd seen one of my friends had started using this. The packaging is great, very slick. Although it has one of those caps that water seems to get caught in, you know what i mean?

Anyway, straight away my hair felt so much softer! It took a couple of times for the conditioner to start making my hair shinier. I definitely felt and saw a difference in using this conditioner.

The conditioner lasted me about 6-7 weeks, which i think it fairly good. It also smells amazing!

However, i did start getting small, and pretty random patches on dandruff on my scalp. My mum mentioned that she had tried this product before and it gave her dandruff, so i'm being very careful not to get any on my scalp. Just thought i'd tell you all that, in case this does cause dandruff, who knows?!

Anyway, i'd give it 3.5/5 in total. I have bought it again as i would like to give it a fair go. However i'm not sure this is the product for me in the long run! What conditioner do you currently use?

Lots of Love xxx

Bourjois Ombre Stretch review!

Today i am reviewing the Bourjois Ombre stretch in 'Maxi Blanc'. My initial thoughts were that the packaging was very sleek, I also liked the fact that it came with a brush applicator and mirror.

I am impressed with the versatility of this eye shadow  with no primer it leaves a very translucent shimmer, with primer more of white shimmer and with a white pencil base it comes through very strong.
I have found that i like to use this product as a highlighter, inner eye and under brow arch. It really works better with a primer, as with most eye shadows. These eye shadows retail for £2.50 which i think is worth the money considering what you get. It's really handy to have in your makeup bag.

Here are a couple of examples when i have used it on the inner eye and under the brow.

I have a ombre stretch in 'Maxi Blanc' for sale, click here to view it.

Much love & stay beautiful, Beth xxx

Why we shouldn't be afraid to talk ( photo a day )

Today I defeated that little voice inside telling me 'I can't'. I went through a rough patch a few months back with my health and subsequently, my mind.
I stopped everything in my routine for months. Well, finally I returned to my singing lessons today!!! I enjoy them so much but I let my mind convince me I was no good.
So I've been practicing, and all is going well now. But don't be afraid to tell people your going through a rough patch emotionally or mentally. It's about time we started being honest with each other!

Me! (photo a day, yesterdays)

I wanted to share this. When I smile I quite often do this weird thing where my left eye (right to you) goes all squinty!
Anyway, this photo was taken just before I filmed a haul :)
Much love x

Photo a day...

I know i'm late!!! I got very confused as to whether i had done today's photo a day! Hahaha should i be worried?
I have been reminiscing lately. Almost 2 years ago now my family and i decided to go on a 20 day road trip around England. There were many places we didn't get to go but it was such a fun time in my life. We had our lives in our car for those 2 and a half weeks and we had a few plans in place but we had such an adventure! So i'm going to give you a few photos today, here's an insight into my crazy adventure!
